The Carlton Veterinary Hospital history
Dr. Eric Witherspoon purchased Carlton Veterinary Hospital in 1979 as a rural mixed animal practice. Over the ensuing years, the practice grew to multiple veterinarians specializing in equine and small animal medicine and surgery.
In July of 2017, Dr. Leanne Mellbye and Dr. Nichole Pilakowski moved from Associate Veterinarians to taking over the reigns of practice ownership. They have carried on with Carlton Veterinary Hospital's mission statement.
We pride ourselves on being full of compassion, commitment, and the determination to keep your pets healthy throughout their lives. In addition to providing routine care and vaccines, Carlton Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary facility made up of a modern small animal hospital, surgical unit, radiology department, mobile equine team and an on-site laboratory.
